Recap: Schlegel

The 1st of my Schlegels to arrive in the United States was my grandfather William Paul Schlegel (in German, Paul Wilhelm), who arrived in New York City from Kolmar, Posen, Prussia in 1891, followed in 1894 by a younger sister Emma Louise.  Both settled in New York City, Emma marrying in 1898, and William marrying in 1902.  From letters remaining in both families, each corresponded with their mother and step-sister in Europe, until William's death in 1929, and beyond Emma's death in 1947 as at least one daughter continued the correspondence.

From these letters, we know their mother Emma Pauline and step-sister Emma Matilde lived in:

1910 - 1914 ?          Kolmar, Posen, Prussia        now Chodiez, Poland
Includes photo postcards of both in front of "their shop"
Emma Matilde married in 1913 and daughter born in 1914 -- in Kolmar ?

1928 - 1938             Rugenwalde, Pommern        now Darlowo, Poland
Emma Matilde's daughter Christa confirmed in 1929, and married in 1936
Emma Pauline living with Emma Matilde and husband in 1938

   1954 - 1958             Lichtenfels, Bavaria
One of Emma Louise's children visits from New York in 1954
        Emma Matilde dies in 1958

One letter mentions Anna and Emil, maybe siblings of the 2 immigrants?
